Avocado semifreddo - recipe

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 1 avocado copt
  • 200 ml of sweetened condensed milk
  • 380 ml of whipped cream

Method of preparation

A portion of Semifreddo prepared according to this recipe has 1005 calories, 80 g of fat, 59 g of carbohydrates, 14 g of protein.

Cut the avocado in half, remove the seeds. Cut the core into squares into a knife and extract the pulp with a teaspoon.

Put the avocado in a food processor with an S blade, with a pinch of salt.

Add condensed milk. Mix until you get a fine, creamy paste. Transfer to a bowl.

Beat the cream in a bowl with the manual mixer until strong peaks form. It is essential that the cream is very cold, from the refrigerator, otherwise it will not harden.

Incorporate the cream obtained in the avocado paste with a spatula. Stir gently, with wide movements, from bottom to top.

Transfer the Semifreddo composition to a cake pan, in which you put plastic wrap (including on the walls).

Level above. You can sprinkle pistachios, walnuts, cashews, almonds or other fried oil on top again.

Put the dessert in the freezer. You need to let it harden for at least 6 hours. It is preferable to freeze it overnight.

The next day, Semifreddo comes out of the tray and cut into slices.

If you want to give it more consistency and a more attractive look, pour a chocolate icing over it, as in the picture.

The glaze can be prepared from cocoa powder and liquid coconut oil. Or you can mix melted dark chocolate with a little milk.

Avocado semifreddo in vegan version (fasting)

Replace regular condensed milk with:

  • vegan condensed milk, according to the recipes HERE
  • canned coconut milk (only the hard and creamy part above & # 8211 can be found at Ldl) and / or coconut cream (from SanoVita) beaten with the mixer

How do we prepare the cherry cake recipe?

Advice. Orient yourself to the density of the dough, if necessary, add 1 tablespoon of flour.

4. Peel the apples, optionally, if they are thick, and cut them as thin as possible directly into the form, then sprinkle them with 2 tablespoons of sugar.

5. Pour the dough into the mold and distribute it in a thin layer.

Advice. This dough does not have to stay long, it is preferable to work quickly.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C and bake the cake for 15 minutes on the lower stage, then another 15-25 minutes on the middle stage.

The cup check is an extremely popular dessert on the internet. It's normal, a simple and quick dessert will always be in high demand. I propose a variant healthy, that is sugar free and without wheat flour (and respectively, gluten free), which is done just as quickly and is good for everything. For success, I recommend using a measuring spoon with a capacity of 15 ml.

  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour (or 2 tablespoons almond flour or 1 tablespoon carbohydrate-free fiber flour)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium bran
  • 1 tablespoon green sugar sweetener
  • 1 knife tip baking powder
  • 1 or
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sweet cream (30-35% fat), optional

The dough can be prepared either directly in the cup or in another bowl, then poured into the cup. Whichever method you prefer, the mode is the same. First mix the dry components (coconut flour, cocoa, psyllium bran, sweetener, baking powder), over which the wet ones (egg, oil and cream) are poured.

I am a big lover of simple recipes, especially desserts. I'm sure all the ingredients we'll need can be found in any kitchen year-round. I assure you that you will be pleasantly impressed. The unusual structure reminds us of several desserts at once: puhavi biscuits, a thick cake or aerated cake. This cake can be combined with practically anything: cinnamon and chopped walnuts, jam, citrus peel, etc., whatever you like and have at hand. This cake can be kept even for a week.

ingredients:

  • Butter 82.5% & # 8211 140 g
  • Sugar & # 8211 180 g
  • Eggs & # 8211 1
  • Vanilla extract & # 8211 5 g
  • Baking powder & # 8211 7 g
  • Flour & # 8211 280 g
  • Cream 15% & # 8211 100 g
  • Sugar & # 8211 50 g
  • Cinnamon & # 8211 5 g
  • Roasted nuts & # 8211 50 g

Put the butter (140 g) in a small saucepan.

Put the pan on medium heat and let the butter melt completely.

Now a very important moment. Boil the butter until it becomes darker. The butter will start to boil, make a lot of foam and in a moment you will feel the aroma of nuts. Here is such an unexpected surprise that the (quality) butter will give us.

To better understand how necessary it is to boil butter, take a little butter in a teaspoon from the bottom of the pan. When you notice that some particles have formed, it will be a sign that it is ready. The butter will turn quite brown, at a temperature of about 140-145 degrees.

Pour the butter into the mixer bowl and add the sugar (180 g) and let the mixture cool.

Add an egg for this reason and I waited for the butter to melt. I recommend using natural vanilla extract (5 g). Natural vanilla will give any dessert a totally different flavor and taste. Stir at high speed until you get a frothy mixture.

Add the cream (100g). You can replace it with yogurt or kefir.

Add the flour (280 g) and baking powder (7 g).

The dough will be quite smooth, fluffy and thick.

Now prepare the dressing from chopped walnuts (I used roasted hazelnuts), sugar and cinnamon. Experiment and add whatever you like and find appropriate.

In any case, the cake will be delicious and without anything, thanks to the fried butter.

Here's what you should get.

I used a 16 cm ring and laid a silicone mat under it. You can use a tray with a removable bottom or whatever you have on hand, with any diameter. You can use foil or baking paper instead of a rug.

Turn over half of the total amount of dough and distribute it with a spatula.

Top with half of the walnut dressing or whatever you have prepared.

Above the rest of the dough.

And the dressing room again. Place in the preheated oven at 160 degrees, top-down mode, for about 30-60 minutes, depending on the shape you have.

Cover the finished cake with a towel until it cools completely.

Tips

Add to it whatever you like and think it would fit. Any spices, the combination of which will make the cake even more fragrant. If you replace a quarter of the flour with alkalized cocoa, you will get a chocolate cake. Turn on your imagination and experiment, add fruit or berries.

In a container or plastic wrap, the cake can be stored for 4-5 days (possibly even longer).
